Filip Sosenko, PhD

Welcome to my official unofficial website

I am a Research Fellow at the Institute for Social Policy, Housing and Equalities Research (I-SPHERE), Heriot-Watt University. I work primarily with Prof. Suzanne Fitzpatrick, Prof. Glen Bramley and Prof. Sarah Johnsen.

My research interests lie in the fields of poverty, social exclusion, homelessness and foodbanks. Since 2008 I have been involved in several research projects undertaking both qualitative and quantitative research, working with a range of clients including the Scottish Government, Communities and Local Government, the Joseph Rowntree Foundation, LankellyChase Foundation and the Equality and Human Rights Commission. I have been a Principal Investigator on six research projects with budgets of up to £80k.
